LoiterFEST seeks to recruit the community members to reframe existing spaces of radical obscurity as moments of expression, niftiness and explorative fun. These may be spaces you pass through every day but never stop to consider. Despite their technical ease of access, they hide in the hard-to-reach corners of free will.

Now you’re imagining these spaces, but you can’t. These aren’t spaces you'd recall, by nature they're forgotten. To find these, set forth on a misadventure and notice the least prominent parts of spaces, peak around corners that scream "nothing here", and getting perfectly lost. You'll need to turn the space inside out like a pocket to find its treasure.

Hosting an event with LoiterFEST should feel like hosting in your own home, because if you do this right, you'll feel like the sole discoverer of your destination. These spaces should reflect the home inside of us, the places we go to feel protected and secure, even if others see them as "sketchy" or "boring".

That is their defence mechanism at work.
